The annual Piano Gala Fundraiser for the Rosalina G.and Harold C. Sackstein Piano Scholarship Endowment at the Frost School of Music is one of our most beloved and popular events. The concert features distinguished facility, former scholarship recipients, and talented young performers.

The Old City String Quartet, Grand and Gold Medalist winners of the 2010 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition interpret chamber music favorites.  Members of the quartet have preformed with some of the world's finest orchestras such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic and BBC Concert Orchestra.

Toomai String Quintet returns to the Miami Music Civic Association, focusing on music of two Latin-American greats, Lecuona and Ponce. Known for engaging concerts and diverse repertoire, this exciting New York based quintet is a feature ensemble for Carnegie Hall's Musical Connections program. Vocalist Alina Roitstein will join the quintet. "Roitstein possesses a beautiful voice and equally beautiful presence," writes El Nuevo Herald.

Orchestra Miami presents soprano Eglise Gutierrez, accompanied by pianist and conductor Elaine Rinaldi. Miami Music Civic Association 2011-2012 season finale recital features the Cuban-American soprano, who earned critical acclaim foe her performance as Lucia in Lucia de Lamermoor at the Florida Grand Opera in 2010. Tickets to this concert are limited and will only be included in Miami Music Civic Association subscriptions purchased by December 31, 2011.  Single tickets to this event may be purchased by calling 305.274.2103.
